Uncovering Small RNAs in Penicillium digitatum by Transcriptome Sequencing

نویسندگان

چکیده

Small RNAs in Penicillium digitatum were identified and analyzed via transcriptome sequencing on the BGISEQ-500 platform. A total of 15 predicted miRNAs 10718 novel siRNAs found. Their length distribution, sequence, construction, base bias, expression levels potential targets determined as well. Through pathway KEGG enrichment analysis, miRNA target genes mostly involved carbohydrate metabolism, transport catabolism, translation amino acid metabolism. The aflatoxin biosynthesis proteasome had a higher rich factor value. results will provide theoretical foundation for understanding developmental pathogenic mechanisms P. at transcriptional level.

Identification and Classification of Small RNAs in Transcriptome Sequence Data

Current methods for high throughput sequencing (HTS) for the first time offer the opportunity to investigate the entire transcriptome in an essentially unbiased way. In many species, small non-coding RNAs with specific secondary structures constitute a significant part of the transcriptome. Some of these RNA classes, in particular microRNAs and snoRNAs, undergo maturation processes that lead to...

I-13: Transcriptome Dynamics of Human and Mouse Preimplantation Embryos Revealed by Single Cell RNA-Sequencing

Background: Mammalian preimplantation development is a complex process involving dramatic changes in the transcriptional architecture. However, it is still unclear about the crucial transcriptional network and key hub genes that regulate the proceeding of preimplantation embryos. Materials and Methods: Through single-cell RNAsequencing (RNA-seq) of both human and mouse preimplantation embryos, ...

Deep sequencing of small RNAs in plants: applied bioinformatics.

Small RNAs, including microRNA and short-interfering RNAs, play important roles in plants. In recent years, developments in sequencing technology have enabled the large-scale discovery of sRNAs in various cells, tissues and developmental stages and in response to various stresses. This review describes the bioinformatics challenges to analysing these large datasets of short-RNA sequences and so...

Global Transcriptome Analysis Reveals Small RNAs Affecting Neisseria meningitidis Bacteremia

Most bacterial small RNAs (sRNAs) are post-transcriptional regulators involved in adaptive responses, controlling gene expression by modulating translation or stability of their target mRNAs often in concert with the RNA chaperone Hfq. Neisseria meningitides, the leading cause of bacterial meningitis, is able to adapt to different host niches during human infection. However, only a few sRNAs an...

Unexpected Diversity of Chloroplast Noncoding RNAs as Revealed by Deep Sequencing of the Arabidopsis Transcriptome

Noncoding RNAs (ncRNA) are widely expressed in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Eukaryotic ncRNAs are commonly micro- and small-interfering RNAs (18-25 nt) involved in posttranscriptional gene silencing, whereas prokaryotic ncRNAs vary in size and are involved in various aspects of gene regulation. Given the prokaryotic origin of organelles, the presence of ncRNAs might be expected; however, th...
